This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Develop, maintain, and facilitate the execution of production and operations schedules for designated value streams, product lines, programs, or locations.
• Convert demand, backlog, forecasts, and business priorities into actionable schedules that align with capacity, labor, material availability, and operational limitations.
• Assess schedule performance, loading, throughput, bottlenecks, and resource limitations to identify risks and propose corrective measures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, materials, sourcing, logistics, quality, and program teams to synchronize schedules with operational readiness and customer commitments.
• Conduct schedule reviews and planning meetings to convey priorities, risks, constraints, and recovery strategies.
• Oversee schedule compliance, overdue orders, recovery initiatives, and output performance; escalate issues that may affect delivery or business obligations.
• Execute scenario analyses to assess schedule alternatives, trade-offs, and impacts on capacity, fulfillment, and customer delivery.
• Promote schedule stabilization through enhanced planning logic, operational discipline, and cross-functional action management.
• Create and maintain planning dashboards, reports, and metrics pertaining to schedule performance, backlog, constraint management, and on-time delivery.
• Assist in daily management, weekly reviews, and leadership updates with clear, data-driven insights.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance schedule accuracy, flow, visibility, and predictability.
• Active military personnel within their last 180 days of military service.
• Extensive experience in operations planning, production scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing, or related analytical disciplines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and planning or scheduling tools.
• Capability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, or other complex regulated manufacturing settings.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Experience leading planning reviews, schedule recovery efforts, and tracking cross-functional actions.
• Familiarity with operational metrics such as plan attainment, schedule adherence, throughput, backlog, and on-time delivery.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information necessitates proof of U.S. Person status: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, or granted asylee or refugee status.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable; employees may also be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
