Senior Operations Manager – Home Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct weekly performance reviews with fulfillment vendors, which include scorecard assessments, follow-up actions, and corrective plans.

• Ensure fulfillment partners meet their Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Act as the main relationship manager for a designated group of fulfillment vendors.

• Manage the regular meeting schedule and lead business evaluations.

• Promote Vetcove externally and nurture partner relationships.

• Analyze extensive datasets using SQL, Excel, and BI tools to uncover root causes and assess operational impact.

• Develop data-driven arguments for process and integration enhancements.

• Convert operational failure modes into improvements in integration and fulfillment, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.

• Draft specifications, drive prioritization, and ensure follow-through until solutions are implemented and metrics show improvement.

• Assume operational responsibility for newly launched initiatives.

• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and make large-scale operational decisions.

• Write and maintain SOPs, escalation protocols, and process documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in operations, program management, marketplace/ecommerce operations, or supply chain management.

• Proven experience in holding external partners accountable for performance.

• Documented history of consistent follow-through and cross-organizational escalation.

• Proficient in SQL (or equivalent demonstrated experience).

• Advanced skills in Excel/Sheets.

• Capable of drawing valid conclusions from large and complex datasets.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience in managing vendor or partner relationships from start to finish.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams.

• Self-motivated and highly organized in a completely remote work environment.

• Background in ecommerce fulfillment, third-party logistics (3PL), pharmacy, or distribution operations is a plus.

• Familiarity with BI/analytics tools such as Hex, Looker, or Tableau is advantageous.

• Experience in animal health, healthcare, or other regulated fulfillment sectors is a plus.

• A four-year degree is requested in the application form.
