Senior Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate collaboration across various departments

• Provide training to advisors on performance methodologies

• Ensure data integrity for operational reporting

• Address data issues related to the platform

• Oversee the management of account, asset, transaction, strategy, model, reporting-only household, security classification, and target allocation coding on the platform

• Acquire knowledge of operational data and platform functionalities concerning composites, trading, transactions, billing, web-based platforms, and performance data

• Collaborate with advisors and internal conversion teams to create and sustain custom queries

• Maintain and verify platform data within the portfolio accounting system and subsequent processes

• Conduct data quality audits to pinpoint coding gaps, incomplete setups, and discrepancies

• Implement recurring processes and audits following firm standards

• Resolve data issues and work with departments to guarantee the accuracy of operational data and compliance with regulations

• Offer internal customer support for urgent inquiries and requests

• Assist with projects impacting cost basis, tax reporting, performance, composites, Orion Connect, trading, billing, and reporting

• Engage in cross-training within other Operations areas as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma (or equivalent) is mandatory; a post-secondary degree is preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in a financial services firm managing data integrity and performance projects in operations is preferred

• Familiarity with performance reporting, including Time Weighted Return and Dollar Weighted Return, and the influence of transaction data on these reporting methods is preferred

• Proficient in working with portfolio accounting/management and CRM systems

• Experience with Orion Advisor Technology and/or Salesforce is preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

• Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail

• Proven capability to effectively utilize AI tools and technologies in daily tasks

• Understanding of how to create effective prompts, assess AI-generated content for accuracy and relevance, and integrate AI tools to enhance productivity while upholding quality standards

• Willingness to learn new AI applications and comprehend their appropriate use cases and limitations

• Commitment to ongoing learning and adaptation to new AI tools and methodologies is expected

• Capability to stand or sit for extended periods, file documents in high or low cabinets, use the telephone, and operate computer systems
