Senior Operational Strategy Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance operational strategy considerations for RFPs and bid defense meetings (BDMs)

• Assist operational teams during BDMs and represent Precision operations in pre-award discussions

• Examine complex clinical study operationalization, competitive landscape, study design, and rationale

• Formulate, develop, and optimize operational strategies for prospective opportunities

• Deliver data-driven insights for country and site recommendations, competitive landscape, and anticipated recruitment rates

• Develop proposal content and perform thorough proposal evaluations

• Ensure proposals align with strategic, operational, scientific, medical, and clinical development plans

• Formulate and enhance study budgets and assist in budget finalization

• Transition operational strategy methods alongside Project Management and Clinical Trial Management

• Engage in post-award meetings and assist with follow-up tasks

• Mentor and train peers in clinical research strategy and budgeting

• Represent Precision for Medicine in client meetings, capability presentations, industry events, speaking engagements, and booth exhibitions

• Develop innovative solutions combining medical and scientific strategy while providing client consulting

• Support the integration of translational and data innovation strategies

• Publish articles related to scientific or industry topics

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 18 years of experience in the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry or equivalent relevant background and/or proven competencies

• Proven proficiency and relevant expertise in operational strategy analysis and budget assessment

• Extensive experience in target therapeutic area clinical development with a focus on operational delivery considerations, strategy, feasibility, budget formulation, and execution across all phases of clinical trials

• Strong capability to develop and evaluate study budgets in accordance with study delivery strategy

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web/data-based platforms

• In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP, applicable Precision for Medicine SOPs, and regulatory guidelines

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays

• Postgraduate degree is preferred
