This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop websites and create new service and landing pages from initial concept to final publication.
• Execute information architecture, including copy, images, forms, internal linking, and publishing.
• Continuously enhance the website, determining which pages to add, merge, or redirect using 301 redirects.
• Oversee indexing and manage canonical tags.
• Enrich regional location pages with unique and valuable content.
• Conduct research, write, and publish blog posts and page content.
• Articulate storage sizing, self-consumption rate, energy independence, and financial feasibility in an easily understandable manner.
• Shift existing content focus towards self-consumption, energy storage, and heating topics.
• Investigate keywords and search intent, and analyze SERPs.
• Optimize titles, meta descriptions, heading structures, and alt text.
• Create topic clusters and establish clear internal linking frameworks.
• Assess rankings, competitors, and crawl audits, and execute action plans accordingly.
• Maintain the content plan and contribute original topic ideas.
• Enhance Core Web Vitals based on field data insights.
• Optimize image formats, loading priorities, render-blocking scripts, web fonts, and plugins.
• Systematically utilize AI tools for research, structuring, and initial drafts.
• Verify data and legal information against primary sources.
• Generate assets that comply with brand and design standards.
• Brief external web developers and conversion consultants, monitor tasks, and approve deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing.
• Multiple years of practical WordPress experience, including the ability to independently build pages from start to finish.
• Capability to publish content without requiring an editorial review process.
• Solid practical experience in on-page SEO and confidence in using SEO tools.
• Familiarity with Sistrix, Semrush, Ahrefs, or SE Ranking; hands-on experience with SE Ranking is essential.
• Strong technical acumen in interpreting performance and crawl data.
• Methodical use of AI, demonstrating a commitment to source citation and fact-checking.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or similar software.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently.
• Skills in HTML and CSS at a debugging level (preferred).
• Regular hands-on experience with Search Console and GA4 (preferred).
• Experience with session recording tools like Microsoft Clarity (preferred).
• Knowledge of structured data in JSON-LD (preferred).
• Experience in local SEO and managing Google Business Profiles (preferred).
• Ability to objectively evaluate visibility in AI-generated responses (preferred).
• Industry knowledge in energy or building services engineering is not mandatory.
• Choose between two locations: Regensburg or Munich.
• Access to SE Ranking, Adobe Creative Cloud, Jira, and AI tools for research.
