This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers while providing up-to-date, thorough clinical insights regarding Amgen’s products to healthcare professionals.

• Clearly articulate the clinical and economic advantages of the products.

• Develop and implement detailed territory plans.

• Convey branded sales messages and carry out planned initiatives.

• Organize and follow up on medical educational events.

• Meet or surpass sales objectives.

• Manage and service accounts, ensuring product availability, addressing or directing reimbursement challenges, and upholding product contracts.

• Formulate marketing strategies to boost sales.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of sales activities and assess territory performance.

• Collaborate with the District Manager to create territory plans.

• Enhance the Amgen brand throughout the sales cycle while supporting patients.

• Work alongside colleagues to exchange best practices and promote ongoing learning.

• Utilize oncology expertise and stay informed on industry, regulatory, and competitive dynamics to achieve agreed-upon results.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field unrelated to sales.

• OR an Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field unrelated to sales.

• OR a High school diploma / GED with 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field unrelated to sales.

• Preferred experience in the field of Oncology.

• At least three years of sales and/or marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device sectors.

• Experience in product or hospital sales within oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology and inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases.

• Familiarity with the local market.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration is preferred.

• Ability to adapt with key competencies including Planning and Organizing; Utilizing Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge; Effective Communication; Results Orientation; and Building Internal and External Relationships.
