Senior Oncology Specialist

📋 Description

• Act as a bridge between customers and medical professionals by offering clinical expertise on Amgen products.

• Deliver up-to-date and thorough clinical insights regarding Amgen offerings.

• Clearly articulate the clinical and economic advantages of products to healthcare providers.

• Develop and implement detailed territory plans that encompass branded sales messages, organized programs, medical education initiatives, and sales objectives.

• Manage and service accounts, ensuring product accessibility, addressing or escalating reimbursement challenges, and upholding product contracts.

• Design marketing strategies aimed at boosting sales.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of sales activities and assess territory performance.

• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate territory strategies.

• Maintain enthusiasm for the product throughout the sales process while enhancing the Amgen brand.

• Collaborate with colleagues to exchange best practices and promote ongoing learning.

• Utilize knowledge of oncology, disease states, industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to achieve agreed-upon outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field unrelated to sales.

• OR Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field unrelated to sales.

• OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare or scientific field unrelated to sales.

• Preferred experience in the Oncology sector.

• At least three years of sales and/or marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device sectors.

• Experience in product or hospital sales within oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology and inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases.

• Familiarity with local market dynamics.

• Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
