This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Promote Pfizer’s diverse product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
• Educate healthcare community members on the appropriate utilization of Pfizer products.
• Engage with accounts and organized customers to enhance the patient experience with Pfizer offerings and improve overall patient care quality.
• Boost Pfizer’s brand presence among high-value target clients.
• Connect insightful evaluations of accounts and/or business landscapes with an understanding of Pfizer products and resources.
• Advocate for a wide range of products.
• Generate demand for Pfizer products within assigned accounts.
• Develop thorough territory, account, and customer plans to meet objectives.
• Maintain relationships across institutions.
• Navigate challenges to access healthcare providers and customers who are difficult to engage.
• Build and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establish long-lasting connections with top-priority clients.
• Assess the needs of target physicians and accounts, responding with tailored approaches, specialized skills, and appropriate resources.
• Engage, influence, and support customers throughout the sales process.
• Operate in a matrix environment while leveraging multiple resources to fulfill customer needs and achieve results.
• Cover a territory that includes Detroit, Ann Arbor, extending south to the Ohio border and west to Battle Creek.
• BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and stay overnight as required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from consideration.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales OR a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) collaborating with key Oncology thought leaders or influential customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.
• Proven track record of success and achievements in previous Pharmaceutical Sales or Healthcare Professional (HCP) roles.
• Exceptional ability to learn and effectively communicate technical and scientific product information as well as disease management details to a diverse range of customers.
• Demonstrated high level of business acumen.
• Proficient in using complex digital applications and adaptable to Pfizer’s long-range technology model.
• 3–5 years of experience in Oncology sales is preferred.
• Experience in the Hematology Therapeutic Area is preferred.
• A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• An advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree is preferred.
• Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders is preferred.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.
