This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Promote Pfizer’s product range to healthcare providers and specialists.
• Educate members of the healthcare community on the appropriate utilization of Pfizer products.
• Engage with accounts and organized customers to enhance patients’ experiences with Pfizer products and elevate the overall quality of patient care.
• Strengthen Pfizer’s brand presence among high-value target customers.
• Analyze account and/or business environments, connecting insights with knowledge of Pfizer’s offerings and resources.
• Advocate for a diverse portfolio of products.
• Utilize understanding of disease states, therapeutic areas, products, customers, and markets.
• Generate demand for Pfizer products within designated accounts.
• Create detailed territory, account, and customer plans to meet objectives.
• Foster relationships across institutions.
• Navigate obstacles to access challenging healthcare providers and customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with oncology Key Opinion Leaders and establish enduring connections with priority clients.
• Evaluate the needs of target physicians and accounts, addressing them with tailored approaches, relevant skills, and appropriate resources.
• Engage, influence, and support customers throughout the sales process.
• Operate in a matrix environment, leveraging various resources to fulfill customer requirements and achieve results.
• BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree accompanied by 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
• Valid US driver’s license with a driving record compliant with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or similar impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify you from employment.
• A minimum of 4 years of prior Pharmaceutical Sales experience or at least 4 years of experience as an Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) working with key Oncology thought leaders or influential customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.
• Oncology Sales experience is mandatory.
• Proven track record of success and achievements in previous Pharmaceutical Sales or Healthcare Professional (HCP) roles.
• Exceptional ability to learn and effectively communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information to a diverse customer base.
• Demonstrated high degree of business acumen.
• Proficient in utilizing complex digital applications and capable of adapting to Pfizer’s long-term technology strategy.
• 3-5 years of Oncology sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the Genitourinary Therapeutic Area.
• Strong connections with Key Oncology leaders at Duke and UNC Medical Centers.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree is preferred.
• Experience engaging with institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
