This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Promote the portfolio of Pfizer products to healthcare providers and specialists.

• Educate members of the healthcare community on the proper utilization of Pfizer products.

• Engage with accounts and organized customers to enhance patient experiences with Pfizer products and improve the quality of patient care.

• Strengthen Pfizer’s brand presence among high-value target customers.

• Evaluate account and business landscapes, linking insights with Pfizer products and resources.

• Advocate for a diverse array of products.

• Create demand for Pfizer products within assigned accounts.

• Formulate detailed territory, account, and customer strategies to meet objectives.

• Maintain strong relationships within institutions.

• Navigate access challenges with healthcare providers and customers.

• Foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and establish enduring connections with priority customers.

• Analyze the needs of target physicians and accounts, addressing them with the appropriate resources.

• Engage, influence, and support customers throughout the sales process.

• Operate in a matrix environment, utilizing various resources to fulfill customer needs and achieve results.

• The territory includes Fresno, Bakersfield, Modesto, and surrounding regions.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution, OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Willingness to travel domestically and stay overnight when necessary.

• Valid US driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards.

• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify you from consideration.

• A minimum of 4 years of prior Pharmaceutical Sales experience, or at least 4 years of prior Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key Oncology thought leaders or influential customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.

• Proven track record of success and achievement in previous Pharmaceutical Sales or Healthcare Professional (HCP) roles.

• Exceptional ability to learn and effectively communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information to a diverse audience.

• Demonstrated high level of business acumen.

• Proficient in using complex digital applications and adaptable to Pfizer’s long-term technology model.

• 3-5 years of Oncology sales experience is preferred.

• Experience in Breast Cancer Therapeutic Areas is preferred.

• A Master’s Degree is preferred.

• An Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree is preferred.

• Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders is preferred.

• Strong understanding of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant customers and markets.

• Skills in strategic account selling and management.

• Exceptional selling, technical, and relationship-building capabilities.

• Ability to engage, influence, and support customers throughout the sales process.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

• Capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new working methods in a rapidly evolving environment.

• Ability to work within a matrix environment, leveraging multiple resources to meet customer needs and achieve results.

• Candidates must have authorization to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.

• This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.
