Senior Okta Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Configure and integrate legacy applications into the centralized Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) platform, including NIPRNet applications.

• Implement and troubleshoot single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), identity federation, and API integrations.

• Collaborate with application owners to evaluate legacy authentication methods and address integration challenges.

• Execute established procedures for application enablement.

• Deploy and maintain identity configurations and access policies using automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Troubleshoot issues related to identity synchronization.

• Ensure that integrated applications meet phishing-resistant authentication and Zero Trust access requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise Okta ICAM Identity and Access Management and Authorization support for a federal customer.

• Okta Certified Administrator Certification.

• Active Secret Clearance or higher.

• Hands-on experience in configuring Okta and integrating enterprise applications with centralized identity platforms.

• Proficiency in SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSO, and MFA.

• Ability to diagnose and rectify authentication failures, API integration issues, and identity synchronization errors.

• Experience in utilizing CI/CD pipelines to deploy identity configurations and access policies.

• Knowledge of phishing-resistant authentication, access controls, and secure application integration practices.

• Capability to work directly with application owners and technical teams to overcome integration challenges and enable secure application access.
