This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Laser Scanning, point cloud processing, and digital engineering for intricate environments like FPSOs.

• Manage, process, publish, and archive point clouds utilizing Hexagon/Leica technologies.

• Prepare point clouds for publication in Plan360 and Smart 3D with the CloudWorx for S3D plugin and Autodesk tools.

• Assist the Digital Engineering team in deploying cloud-based semi-automated modeling technologies.

• Utilize in-house solutions, such as Multivisão, alongside market solutions like Leica 3DR and FARO As-Built.

• Process point clouds to create 3D meshes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated experience in operating and configuring the Leica RTC360 Laser Scanner.

• Advanced understanding of point cloud processing within the Leica ecosystem, including Cyclone Register360, specifically for offshore/FPSO settings.

• Familiarity with and practical experience in using FARO SCENE and Autodesk ReCap.

• Advanced proficiency or hands-on experience with Smart 3D, Navisworks, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Forma.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem tools, including Microsoft 365, Copilot, and collaborative solutions.

• Active CREA registration is required.
