📋 Description

• Create complex single-turn prompts within the propulsion and effects domain.

• Categorize prompts as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.

• Assess model responses against established policy standards.

• Evaluate whether responses accurately addressed technical inquiries.

• Develop reference answers and clarify the technical reasoning behind them.

• Conduct red-team assessments on frontier AI models regarding misuse potential judgments.

• Maintain engagement in reading and writing about misuse scenarios in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in designing, qualifying, or testing propulsion and initiation systems, utilizing actual hardware and test data.

• Relevant background in munitions or warhead design and effects engineering.

• Proven expertise in the design, testing, and qualification of solid, liquid, or hybrid propulsion systems.

• Experience in terminal effects modeling, encompassing blast, fragmentation, or penetration.

• Familiarity with fuzing, safe-and-arm, and initiation system engineering.

• Relevant experience in test range engineering and instrumentation related to propulsion or ordnance.

• Capability to differentiate between routine professional inquiries and potentially harmful requests.

• Strong proficiency in technical writing; every judgment necessitates a written rationale that is comprehensible to non-specialists.

• Prior experience in technical writing, published research, or serving as an expert witness is highly regarded.

• Submission of a writing sample or link is required.

• Must refrain from utilizing classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information in the work.
