📋 Description

• Develop intricate single-turn prompts within the propulsion and effects sector.

• Categorize prompts as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.

• Assess model responses against established policy standards.

• Evaluate whether each response was addressed appropriately.

• Craft reference answers that explain correct responses and the technical rationale behind them.

• Generate written rationales that can be easily understood by non-specialists.

• Utilize professional expertise to differentiate legitimate technical inquiries from potentially harmful misuse requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in designing, qualifying, or testing propulsion and initiation systems using actual hardware and test data.

• Relevant background in munitions or warhead design, effects engineering; solid, liquid, or hybrid propulsion system design, testing, and qualification; terminal effects modeling; fuzing, safe-and-arm, and initiation system engineering; or test range engineering and instrumentation related to propulsion or ordnance.

• Capability to differentiate standard professional inquiries from potentially malicious requests.

• Excellent technical writing skills; each judgment must be accompanied by a rationale that is clear to non-specialists.

• Previous experience in technical writing, published research, or as an expert witness is highly desirable.

• Must provide a writing sample or link.

• Ability to read and compose information regarding misuse scenarios in the field for extended periods.

• Must refrain from using classified, export-controlled, NDA-covered, or prepublication-review information.

• Candidates with such obligations should disclose them to ensure appropriate work scope.
