Senior Node.js Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain Tether’s P2P framework

• Enhance the Holepunch ecosystem

• Construct and uphold modular code across a network of more than 1500 public npm modules

• Develop Node.js applications at a production scale

• Create and oversee reusable npm modules

• Conduct testing and debugging of software

• Collaborate with a remote, globally distributed team

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Node.js development for production-scale applications

• Strong proficiency in crafting modular, maintainable code

• Experience in creating and managing reusable npm modules

• Solid skills in testing and debugging

• A keen interest or background in P2P technologies or distributed systems

• Comfortable working within a remote, globally distributed team

• Excellent communication abilities

• Preferred: Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++) or binding JavaScript to lower-level code

• Preferred: Proven capacity to optimize network protocols or systems, focusing on latency and throughput

• Preferred: Familiarity with advanced networking concepts

• Preferred: Previous contributions to open-source projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology
