Senior Node.js Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold Tether's P2P infrastructure

• Enhance the Holepunch ecosystem

• Collaborate with a comprehensive, modular codebase featuring over 1,500 public npm modules

• Create and sustain production-grade Node.js applications

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Node.js development for production-level applications

• Strong ability to write modular and maintainable code

• Experience in developing and managing reusable npm modules

• Proficient in testing and debugging processes

• Keen interest or experience in P2P technologies or distributed systems

• Comfortable collaborating within a remote, globally distributed team

• Effective communication skills

• Preferred: Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++) or binding JavaScript to lower-level code

• Preferred: Proven track record in optimizing network protocols or systems, focusing on latency and throughput

• Preferred: Knowledge of advanced networking concepts

• Preferred: Previous contributions to open-source projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technologies
