Senior Node.js Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain Tether's P2P stack.

• Enhance the ecosystem, which includes over 1,500 public npm modules.

• Operate within a robust and modular codebase.

• Contribute to products that facilitate secure, global digital-token transactions and peer-to-peer technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Node.js development for production-scale applications.

• Strong ability to write modular and maintainable code.

• Experience in creating and managing reusable npm modules.

• Excellent skills in testing and debugging.

• Profound interest or experience in P2P technologies or distributed systems.

• Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team environment.

• Effective communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++) or binding JavaScript to lower-level code.

• Preferred: Proven ability to optimize network protocols or systems, focusing on latency and throughput.

• Preferred: Knowledge of advanced networking concepts.

• Preferred: Previous contributions to open-source projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology.
