Senior Node.js Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain Tether's P2P infrastructure

• Enhance the ecosystem that includes over 1500 public npm packages

• Work with a robust and modular code architecture

• Create products and solutions that facilitate digital finance, blockchain, peer-to-peer technology, and secure data sharing

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Node.js development for production-level applications

• Strong proficiency in writing modular and maintainable code

• Experience in creating and managing reusable npm packages

• Solid skills in testing and debugging

• Keen interest or experience in P2P technologies or distributed systems

• Ability to work comfortably within a remote, globally distributed team; strong communication skills

• Preferred: Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++), or binding JavaScript to lower-level code

• Preferred: Proven ability to optimize network protocols or systems, focusing on latency and throughput

• Preferred: Familiarity with advanced networking concepts

• Preferred: Previous contributions to open-source projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technologies
