Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs that drive enterprise-level SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices along with integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Construct CI/CD pipeline tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure aimed at enhancing developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures that manage sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate directly with engineering leaders, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant aspects of the architecture and deliver production code utilized by enterprise clients.

• Manage systems comprehensively and contribute during an intensive phase of product and platform expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional Node.js experience in production settings.

• In-depth understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime environment.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production-level codebases.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for API security.

• Proven track record with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and schema performance at scale.

• Proficient in Git workflows, code review processes, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of Docker, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Preferred experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations.

• Preferred background in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products.

• Experience in Vue.js front-end development, especially with Vue 3 Composition API and state management, is preferred.

• Experience in B2B SaaS companies catering to enterprise customers with stringent compliance requirements is preferred.

• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred.
