Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs for enterprise-level SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures for handling sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant sections of the architecture and deliver production code utilized by enterprise clients.

• Manage systems comprehensively and contribute significantly during the company's growth stage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional Node.js development experience in production settings.

• In-depth knowledge of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime.

• Familiarity with concepts such as backpressure, setImmediate, process.nextTick, and handling unhandled promise rejections.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in live codebases.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices in enterprise API security.

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modeling.

• Awareness of the performance implications of database schema at scale.

• Proficiency in Git workflows, code reviews, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Docker, cloud services like AWS/GCP/Azure, and infrastructure-as-code principles.

• Highly preferred: Experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations.

• Highly preferred: Background in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products.

• Highly preferred: Vue.js development experience, particularly with Vue 3 Composition API and state management.

• Highly preferred: Experience in B2B SaaS catering to enterprise clients with SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, or GDPR compliance needs.

• Highly preferred: Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
