Senior Network WAN Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive strategy, global design, and platform enhancement for enterprise SD-WAN ecosystems utilizing Cisco Meraki and Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN (Viptela)

• Create scalable routing architectures employing BGP and OSPF

• Guarantee availability, segmentation, performance, and traffic engineering throughout distributed infrastructure

• Spearhead enterprise transitions from traditional WAN to SD-WAN

• Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to address complex technical challenges

• Establish architectural standards

• Conduct root-cause analysis for intricate issues

• Mentor senior engineering staff

• Assess emerging technologies

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required, including 2 years in leadership/management, OR an Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required, including 2 years in leadership/management

• Advanced Cisco Enterprise Credentials: Cisco CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent legacy certifications) and CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or equivalent)

• Cisco SD-WAN Specialist and concentration certifications are preferred
