Senior Network Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical leader during pre-sales engagements across data center, campus, and WAN settings.

• Design and showcase Cisco and Juniper network solutions.

• Facilitate whiteboarding sessions, technical workshops, and customer discovery discussions.

• Collaborate with account managers, delivery teams, and OEM partners on proposals, BOMs, and SOWs.

• Convert business requirements into scalable, secure network architectures utilizing routing, switching, VPN, and firewall technologies.

• Create high-level designs (HLDs), solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and presentations tailored for clients.

• Keep abreast of SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, and automation technologies, articulating their benefits.

• Engage in RFP responses, competitive analysis, and technical validation processes.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise clients.

• Complete ongoing security awareness training and adhere to company policies.

• Identify and report security risks, contributing to remediation initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise networking roles, including a minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solution architect position.

• Extensive technical knowledge in Cisco and Juniper network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls).

• Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, VRFs), QoS, NAT, and ACLs.

• Capability to lead technical conversations with engineers and executives.

• Experience in designing or consulting on data center, WAN, or secure remote access solutions.

• Proficient in creating architecture diagrams, proposal documentation, and technical presentations.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Preferred: CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise/Data Center) or JNCIP/JNCIE certifications.

• Preferred: Knowledge of SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, or cloud networking (AWS/Azure).

• Preferred: Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible or Python.

• Preferred: Familiarity with NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, and hybrid networking environments.
