Senior Network Engineer – DGX Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture and design of our cloud network infrastructure encompassing intra-DC, inter-DC, corporate IT, and internet connectivity.

• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot comprehensive network stacks.

• Automate the entire network infrastructure from provisioning to management and monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in networking, with a strong focus on Arista switches.

• In-depth knowledge of large-scale IP networking technologies and protocols including MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSEC, DNS, and MACsec.

• Practical experience with peering and datacenter interconnect technologies such as PNI, Transit, Exchange, Passive DWDM, and Wave circuits.

• Proficient in writing and understanding Python/Shell scripts and programs for automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards, and alarms.

• Familiarity with network virtualization concepts including VRFs and VXLAN.

• Knowledge of Arista, Cumulus OS, Fortinet OS, and similar platforms.

• Proven track record of implementing network services across various distributed computing environments.

• Experience in architecting, building, and deploying networks for large-scale operations (thousands of machines) used by numerous users.

• Skilled in designing and constructing Points of Presence (POPs) and large-scale Wide Area Networks (WANs).

• Hands-on experience with high-performance networking and optimization in highly-available, large-scale, multi-site, international environments.
