Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain a secure and dependable network infrastructure across various offices, data centers, and multi-cloud environments.

• Utilize tools such as SolarWinds to monitor network health and performance.

• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and routing issues effectively.

• Manage firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/DHCP services.

• Collaborate with network, NOC, and cybersecurity teams on architectural decisions and engineering projects.

• Oversee network projects and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and design.

• In-depth knowledge of core networking and routing protocols.

• Familiarity with next-generation firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/DHCP.

• Practical experience with Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies.

• Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring abilities.

• Capacity to lead junior engineers in high-pressure situations.

• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
