This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Advocate for and promote IHCS' interests within the provider market in Arizona and Colorado.
• Assess the viability and strategic compatibility of providers.
• Identify, select, and onboard providers for home health, home infusion, and durable medical equipment.
• Oversee the strategic market development plan by recruiting targeted providers.
• Formulate and execute negotiation strategies.
• Conduct contract negotiations for Home Health, DME, and IV services.
• Lead and take part in development initiatives in both new and established markets.
• Monitor and report on recruitment activities, progress, and challenges to successful implementation.
• Negotiate contracts to ensure suitable provider size, composition, geographic distribution, quality, and reimbursement strategies.
• Manage territories and assess provider performance from multiple perspectives.
• Employ logical and analytical critical thinking to solve problems.
• Achieve organizational recruitment and strategic initiative objectives.
• Ensure that provider contractual relationships adhere to regulatory requirements and IHCS policies.
• Facilitate the successful execution of Provider Agreements from initiation to approval, including provider-credentialing applications.
• Keep accurate and current information on key contacts, clinical staff, and other personnel at provider locations.
• Carry out other assigned tasks as necessary or required.
• Must reside in Arizona or Colorado.
• Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years of contracting experience.
• Proficiency in fundamental negotiating skills and contract language.
• Familiarity with managed care concepts.
• Knowledge of provider operations and reimbursement methodologies.
• Understanding of providers within the designated geographic area.
• Insight into the relationships among health plans, providers, and referral sources in the local market.
• Ability to ensure that provider contractual relationships align with regulatory requirements and policies.
• Preferred familiarity with contact data software, such as Salesforce.
