Senior Network Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Implement, configure, support, and enhance intricate LAN and WAN environments

• Oversee network technology projects from procurement and installation to configuration, automation, management, and ongoing support

• Collaborate with clients and business units to comprehend their requirements and propose effective technological solutions

• Diagnose complex networking problems and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing performance, reliability, and efficiency

• Assist in the ongoing advancement and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure

• Work together with various teams to provide solutions that align with both technical specifications and business objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundation in networking

• Eagerness to learn and a strong sense of curiosity

• Knowledge or experience with Cisco networking technologies

• Familiarity with Arista Data Center and Campus Switching

• Understanding or experience with Palo Alto Networks, including Panorama, GlobalProtect, Device/IoT Security, and firewalls

• Knowledge or experience with F5 BIG-IP

• Familiarity with SolarWinds

• Understanding of EVPN-VXLAN

• Knowledge or experience with Arista CloudVision

• Familiarity with BGP

• Understanding of VRFs / VRF-Lite

• Experience with site-to-site VPNs

• Knowledge or experience with Cisco/Viptela SD-WAN

• Familiarity with Cisco DNA Center

• Understanding of Cisco Wireless technologies

• Cisco, Palo Alto, or Arista certifications are desirable but not mandatory

• Approximately 5% travel required
