Senior NetSuite Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with implementation consultants to oversee functional execution, conduct post-walkthrough testing, and develop custom system builds prior to go-live.

• Develop native NetSuite solutions and ensure alignment with business processes.

• Assist in rationalizing integrations between NetSuite and enterprise platforms, including Salesforce and OMS.

• Work alongside the external implementation team to facilitate data migration and the transition from legacy Microsoft Dynamics systems.

• Lead user acceptance testing, validation walkthroughs, and technical readiness initiatives through the go-live phase.

• Collaborate on integrations that connect NetSuite with Salesforce, Order Management Systems, and custom digital media platforms.

• Act as the internal subject matter expert and main platform administrator following the go-live event.

• Take ownership of the NetSuite system configuration and functional architecture.

• Design, configure, test, and deploy both native and customized NetSuite solutions, which encompass chart of accounts, segment structures, workflows, approval routing, reports, saved searches, roles/permissions, and SuiteApps.

• Oversee platform maintenance, ensure data integrity, provide user support, and optimize post-go-live processes.

• Convert financial requirements into system designs, wireframes, and workflows.

• Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, and Accounting Managers to assess processes and implement solutions effectively.

• Ensure that NetSuite builds adhere to US GAAP standards, record-to-report cycles, multi-entity/multi-currency reporting, and internal control protocols.

• Travel as needed based on client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in NetSuite administration and functional configuration within a corporate finance or accounting setting.

• Extensive proficiency in NetSuite core financial modules: General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, multi-subsidiary/multi-currency, intercompany, and period-close processes.

• Direct participation in at least one full-cycle NetSuite implementation from discovery to go-live.

• Ideally, experience migrating from legacy ERPs such as Microsoft Dynamics in a mid-to-enterprise environment.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with third-party implementation partners and consultants during an ERP transition.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial statement mapping to system architecture.

• Practical experience in managing NetSuite integrations with Salesforce, OMS, and billing platforms.

• Experience in developing UAT test scripts.

• Preferred: background in the broadcast media, digital media, advertising, publishing, or subscription-based services industries.

• Preferred: credentials as a NetSuite Certified Administrator or NetSuite ERP Consultant.

• Experience in the media or advertising industry is an advantage.

• Preference for candidates located in PA, NY, or the broader Tri-State/Northeast region; a Northeast geographic location is preferred.
