Senior .Net Engineer – IoT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance applications and microservices utilizing C# and .NET technologies.

• Design and either implement or transition features into the new technology stack, which includes C#, .NET MVC, REST API, and microservices based on message brokers.

• Collaborate with team leads to establish the direction for product development.

• Engage with other developers as part of an Agile Scrum team.

• Write code that models, analyzes, and optimizes production equipment.

• Implement and utilize libraries that interface with and control oilfield equipment.

• Develop REST APIs and incorporate messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and MQTT.

• Work with containerized applications.

• Contribute to database architecture, DevOps practices, and system optimization.

• Create software that interacts with industrial and IoT-connected equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Four (4) or more years of professional experience, including at least three (3) years in .NET application development.

• Experience in developing and maintaining features within layered architectures (e.g., MVP, MVC, MVVM).

• Proficiency in relational database development using SQL Server or comparable technologies.

• Familiarity with team-oriented software development processes (Agile Scrum, Pull Requests, Source Control, etc.).

• Highly proficient in writing code in C#.

• Experience working with Docker containers.

• Knowledge of IoT protocols and frameworks such as MQTT, AMQP, etc.

• Experience with messaging queues like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.

• Practical experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server or Oracle.

• Hands-on experience in DevOps.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Eager and motivated to learn new domains, skills, and technologies.
