Senior .NET Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing .NET (C#).

• Create and enhance microservices within a production setting.

• Support existing functionalities and ensure that releases maintain backward compatibility.

• Engage in core domain processes such as account management, registration, authentication, wallet functionality, and other related business capabilities.

• Participate in task analysis, breakdown, and effort estimation.

• Deliver finalized tasks for testing and collaborate with QA during the testing phases.

• Construct integrations using asynchronous communication and event-driven design patterns.

• Work with relational databases, manage transactional flows, and optimize query performance.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and contribute to enhancements in system design.

• Aid in service observability through the use of logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and monitoring.

• Oversee deployment configurations and manifests within Kubernetes environments.

• Operate in a GitOps environment and engage in deployment and operational management.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure-related modifications, including Terraform workflows.

• Participate in on-call rotations and manage production incidents.

• Recognize technical debt and suggest improvements.

• Conduct high-quality code reviews with a focus on maintainability, performance, and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional backend development experience with C# / .NET (6+), .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.

• Strong grasp of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka or similar technologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of relational databases (SQL, transactions, indexing, performance tuning); experience with PostgreSQL is advantageous.

• Proficient in using ORM tools, such as Entity Framework.

• Experience in writing Unit and Integration tests.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).

• Good understanding of software design principles (SOLID, separation of concerns, testability).

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring in production systems.

• Experience in troubleshooting performance and memory-related issues.

• Proficient in English at an Upper Intermediate level.

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform is a plus.

• Familiarity with Grafana, Loki, and Tempo is also advantageous.
