Senior .Net Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and implement or transition features within a new technology stack: C#, .NET MVC, REST API, and microservices based on message brokers.

• Collaborate with team leads to establish the product development strategy.

• Work in close coordination with fellow developers as part of an Agile Scrum team.

• Partner with engineers to create code that models, analyzes, and enhances production equipment.

• Implement and utilize libraries that interface with and control oilfield machinery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience, with at least three (3) years focused on developing .NET applications.

• Experience in developing and maintaining features within layered architectures (e.g., MVP, MVC, MVVM).

• Proficiency in relational database development using SQL Server or an equivalent.

• Familiarity with team-oriented software practices and processes (Agile Scrum, Pull Requests, Source Control, etc.).

• Strong proficiency in writing code in C#.

• Experience with Docker containers.

• Knowledge of IoT protocols and frameworks such as MQTT, AMQP, etc.

• Experience with message queue systems like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.

• Practical experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server and Oracle.

• Hands-on experience in DevOps practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new domains, skills, and technologies.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and InfluxDB is advantageous.

• Experience in developing progressive web applications using React is a plus.

• Background in the Oil and Gas industry is a plus.
