Senior .Net Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain C# APIs and web applications.

• Engage with both modern .NET and legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC codebases.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code during implementation and code review processes.

• Participate in system integration and efforts for legacy modernization.

• Implement security monitoring features, including alerts for sensitive data access, within production web applications.

• Establish and uphold automated regression test coverage.

• Collaborate with client engineering teams on code reviews, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and production releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level, full-stack .NET engineering expertise.

• Experience in software architecture.

• Strong practical experience with C# APIs and web application development.

• Familiarity with legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC.

• Recent, hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar.

• Proficient in ASP.NET Core and the latest .NET versions.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with SQL Server or Oracle.

• Ability to write or manage automated regression tests, such as Playwright.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Access to a private, dedicated workspace with secure internet.

• Preferred experience with Kafka, Change Data Capture patterns, or event-driven architecture.

• Background in healthcare or highly regulated industries is preferred.

• Experience in modernizing legacy websites/applications is preferred.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap is preferred.
