Senior .Net Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain C# APIs and web applications.

• Engage with both contemporary .NET and legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC codebases.

• Utilize AI-driven development tools, such as Claude Code, throughout the implementation and code review stages.

• Participate in system integration and initiatives for modernizing legacy systems.

• Implement security monitoring features, including alerts for sensitive data access, across production web applications.

• Establish and uphold automated regression test coverage.

• Collaborate with client engineering teams on code reviews, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and production releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level, full-stack .NET engineer with experience in software architecture.

• Robust hands-on experience with C# APIs and web application development.

• Familiarity with legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC.

• Recent and active experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or similar.

• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and the latest .NET versions.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient with SQL Server or Oracle.

• Comfortable writing or maintaining automated tests, such as Playwright.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work from a private, dedicated workspace with secure internet access.

• Familiarity with Kafka, Change Data Capture (CDC) patterns, or event-driven architecture is a plus.

• Experience in the healthcare sector or other highly regulated industries is advantageous.

• Background in modernizing legacy websites/applications is a plus.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap is a plus.
