Senior .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications utilizing .NET versions 6–10, MVC, and Entity Framework.

• Create scalable RESTful APIs, WebAPI services, and distributed microservices using .NET Core.

• Develop dynamic UI components with JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, and Blazor.

• Implement and oversee Hangfire for managing background tasks, recurring jobs, and workflow automation.

• Analyze and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, architects, and product owners to deliver software that is ready for production.

• Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.

• Diagnose application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide timely solutions.

• Participate in sprint planning, technical estimations, and Agile delivery ceremonies.

• Maintain technical documentation for both new and existing systems.

• Utilize AI tools for code generation, refactoring, unit testing, documentation, code review, and analysis.

• Keep up-to-date with AI advancements in the .NET and full stack ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical experience with .NET versions 6.x to 10.x.

• Proficiency in MVC architecture along with Entity Framework / EF Core.

• Experience in developing WebAPI and REST Services.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture, including design and communication patterns.

• Familiarity with LINQ, asynchronous programming (async/await), and dependency injection.

• SQL Server experience with stored procedures, indexing, and performance optimization.

• Experience with Hangfire for background jobs, task scheduling, retries, and monitoring.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (native), jQuery, and AngularJS.

• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.

• Experience with Blazor Server and WebAssembly.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows using GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.

• Understanding of prompt engineering techniques for AI coding assistants.

• Ability to critically review, test, and validate AI-generated code before deployment.

• Knowledge of containerization with Docker or Kubernetes is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based deployments is a plus.

• Background in public safety, government technology, or ATE systems is beneficial.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
