This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the development and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth in Away from Home channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, convenience store operators, franchisee groups, and non-commercial GPOs.
• Navigate the three-tier system to leverage partnerships with distributors and operators for consumer insights and business development.
• Identify growth opportunities utilizing syndicated and internal data, and formulate actionable strategies to enhance distribution and sales velocity.
• Promote new and expanded distribution opportunities to both regional and national operators.
• Tailor strategic sales plans based on customer requirements and channel dynamics.
• Provide sales updates and performance reports to senior leadership.
• Ensure the effective execution of promotions and innovation launches through diligent follow-up and tracking.
• Collaborate with National Account Manager colleagues and Customer Vice Presidents to achieve annual operating plan goals.
• Oversee and manage trade, travel, and expense budgets while ensuring efficient resource allocation and return on investment.
• Prepare and present customer presentations for business reviews and significant selling initiatives.
• Identify new opportunities for growth and pursue volume expansion within both existing and new accounts.
• Operate from a home office while engaging in in-person meetings with customers, distributors, and internal teams as required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is preferred; a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to selling to multi-unit operators, non-commercial accounts, convenience stores, or regional chains.
• Demonstrated success in building relationships with Away From Home customers, wholesalers, and internal cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of category management, trade strategy, and profit and loss ownership.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, supply chain, finance, and sales operations teams.
• Capability to utilize data in developing and executing customer strategies.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, persuasion, and advanced negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Ability to adjust selling strategies for virtual platforms including MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and FaceTime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.
• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 40% of the time, including regular domestic travel and overnight trips as required.
