This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Design, create, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise integration solutions.
• Develop MuleSoft APIs and integrations utilizing the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Construct RESTful APIs and implement API-led Connectivity.
• Execute data transformation tasks using DataWeave 2.x.
• Establish and manage MUnit test suites and automated testing processes.
• Oversee APIs utilizing MuleSoft API Manager and API Gateway.
• Implement API lifecycle management, error handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
• Utilize CI/CD tools to assist in development and deployment efforts.
• Deliver production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop reusable integration assets and shared frameworks.
• Engage in code reviews and produce corresponding technical documentation.
• Over 10 years of experience with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Extensive experience in developing MuleSoft APIs and integrations.
• Practical experience with RESTful APIs and API-led Connectivity.
• Strong background in DataWeave 2.x development and data transformation.
• Proficient in MUnit test suites and automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft API Manager and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of API lifecycle management.
• Experience in error handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
• Proficient with Git, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS DevOps, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns, messaging, security, and performance optimization.
• Capable of providing production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in creating reusable integration assets and shared frameworks.
• Background in code reviews and the production of technical documentation.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to federal regulations and the sensitive nature of the work.
• Ability to work remotely within the EST or CST time zones.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) – Level 1 is preferred.
• MuleSoft Platform Architect / Integration Architect certification is preferred.
• Experience with CloudHub 2.0 is preferred.
• Familiarity with Runtime Fabric / Hybrid deployments is preferred.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/mTLS, and API security is preferred.
• Experience with federal, state, or local government projects is preferred.
• Agile / Scrum experience is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• MuleSoft certification is strongly preferred.
