Senior MS Intune, Cloud Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee a completely new implementation of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID (Cloud-only), and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

• Establish, configure, and roll out device management and endpoint security policies across various platforms including Windows, macOS, Android, and AWS servers.

• Create and deploy Microsoft Intune and Entra ID Join from the ground up, with no reliance on legacy on-premises Active Directory.

• Set up Windows Autopilot, Apple Business Manager (ADE) for macOS, and mobile device management profiles for iOS and Android devices.

• Implement Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management, covering EDR, Antivirus, ASR, Network Protection, and automated remediation processes.

• Link AWS EC2 instances to Microsoft Defender for Cloud through Azure Arc and activate MDE extension scanning on AWS servers.

• Connect GitHub and GitLab repositories with Defender for Cloud for scanning exposed secrets, IaC misconfigurations, and dependency vulnerabilities (SCA).

• Align configured policies with ISO 27001:2022 standards.

• Facilitate hands-on skill-transfer sessions for internal engineering and security leadership.

• Document technical processes to ensure smooth onboarding and optimal protection.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading intricate IT infrastructure, endpoint management, or cloud security projects.

• Proven hands-on experience with zero-base Microsoft Intune and Entra ID deployments.

• Advanced practical knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, Apple Business Manager (ADE), and Defender for Endpoint.

• Demonstrated experience in connecting non-Azure infrastructure, particularly AWS EC2, using Azure Arc.

• Experience integrating GitHub/GitLab repositories for security scanning in cloud environments.

• Flexible part-time availability that aligns with Argentina time zone (ART).

• Proficient in spoken and written Spanish.

• Exceptional skills in documenting technical processes and conducting knowledge-transfer sessions.

• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell and Bash is a plus.

• A practical understanding of ISO 27001:2022 framework mapping is desirable.

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100), Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102), or Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) are advantageous.
