Senior MQA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Perform manual testing on web-based applications.

• Develop and maintain testing documents, such as checklists and test cases.

• Engage actively in the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Identify, document, and track software defects.

• Assess potential risks associated with product quality.

• Execute test cases derived from test plans and checklists.

• Conduct exploratory testing based on prior experience.

• Carry out product regression testing.

• Execute release testing.

• Conduct API testing.

• Estimate testing efforts required for projects.

• Implement test plans effectively.

• Prioritize tests and choose the most critical ones for execution within time constraints.

• Analyze project requirements thoroughly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Proficient in REST API testing and utilizing Postman.

• Experience in functional, regression, usability, and GUI (React) testing.

• Skilled in requirements review and analysis.

• Familiarity with test planning and effort estimation.

• Understanding of web application operations and browser functionalities.

• Knowledge of client-server architecture and communication principles.

• Proficient in SQL and database testing.

• Experience with Scrum methodologies.

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools and processes, including JIRA.

• Experience with test management tools, such as TestRail.

• Involvement in hiring processes and interview panels as a senior team member.

• Preferred experience with continuous integration tools like GitLab.

• Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Documentation confirming legal work authorization in the country of residence.
