Senior Motion 3D Designer, Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, animate, and edit videos and motion graphics aimed at performance for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, CTV, and display ads.

• Develop visually captivating hooks, pacing, and outcomes tailored for platform-specific viewing behaviors.

• Produce content in various formats including 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9 across different durations, markets, and testing variables.

• Bring the brand to life through creative typography, engaging transitions, game and product user interfaces, and dynamic energy.

• Create 2D and 3D assets and scenes for game launches, product promotions, and brand campaigns.

• Develop motion templates, toolkits, and After Effects rigs to enhance consistency and efficiency.

• Collaborate with creative and design leadership as well as Paid Media, utilizing performance data to inform experimentation.

• Experiment with AI-driven video, image, and audio tools to accelerate prototyping.

• Deliver live performance videos within the first month, expand the motion toolkit, and contribute to the design of the creative testing roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in motion design and video editing, particularly in creating social and performance-driven content.

• Proficient in After Effects and Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software.

• Strong foundational skills in design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.

• A portfolio showcasing eye-catching social media work and polished brand motion graphics.

• Experience with 2D and 3D capabilities in Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar software, with a solid understanding of rendering capabilities.

• Knowledge of performance video metrics, including thumbstop rate, hold rate, completion rate, and CTR.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with AI video tools in a professional setting.

• Experience in sound design and music editing is a plus.

• Background in animating app or game user interfaces is an advantage.
