This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Assist in the establishment, configuration, migration, and ongoing operations and maintenance of eLearning content for a federal client catering to up to 100,000 users.
• Develop, customize, and sustain Moodle Workplace interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Craft responsive, mobile-optimized layouts while implementing UX best practices.
• Ensure that Moodle content and themes adhere to Section 508 and WCAG standards.
• Configure and oversee Moodle Workplace settings, themes, plugins, and system configurations.
• Create and manage courses, activities, learning content, training assignments, programs, certifications, competency frameworks, and learning plans.
• Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, access control, learner progress, and completion tracking.
• Develop custom Moodle Workplace reports for activity, completion, compliance, and performance metrics.
• Transform, cleanse, organize, integrate, and consolidate data using Excel and Power BI.
• Analyze trends and performance data while automating recurring reporting workflows.
• Design executive-ready Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and user issues within Moodle Workplace.
• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing platform support.
• Collaborate with IT teams, instructional designers, and educators.
• Support SCORM and xAPI course content for compatibility and accurate tracking.
• Install, configure, and maintain Moodle plugins.
• Employ basic SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Utilize Git for code modifications, enhancements, and deployments.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience in integrating and configuring Moodle Workplace within large-scale environments.
• Strong comprehension of LMS, eLearning platforms, and instructional design principles.
• Experience in migrating eLearning content from legacy systems to Moodle Workplace, including ETL processes.
• Familiarity with authentication protocols, access control mechanisms, and eLearning security best practices.
• Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience in customizing Moodle Workplace themes, templates, and plugins.
• Knowledgeable in AWS, Azure, MySQL, and Apache servers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for Moodle Workplace integration challenges.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail in migration and integration activities.
• Must be eligible for obtaining a Department of Homeland Security EOD clearance.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship and a favorable background investigation are required for clearance eligibility.
• Experience with federal or government contracts and an understanding of security clearance processes and compliance regulations is preferred.
• Moodle Certified Integration Specialist or Moodle Certified Administrator certifications are highly desirable.
