Senior Mobile App Engineer, React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Design and implement user experience workflows for participants in clinical trials as well as patients using at-home diagnostic tools.

• Take ownership of the user experience, performance, reliability, and observability of applications and their features.

• Utilize feedback from real users across a variety of use cases and settings.

• Collaborate with native iOS and Android BLE device SDKs to integrate device functionalities.

• Work alongside Devices, Platform, and product design teams.

• Contribute to shaping the roadmap and technical direction for the mobile platform.

• Develop in-app features to assess EEG signal quality prior to data capture.

• Optimize the onboarding process for patients and trial participants.

• Implement features that assist Clinical Operations in monitoring compliance.

• Enhance app performance, ensure release reliability, and improve crash/telemetry visibility throughout the Expo-based build pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in mobile development, with significant experience in shipping and maintaining production React Native applications on both iOS and Android.

• Proficient in TypeScript and knowledgeable about React Native, Expo, and GitHub.

• Experience in app state management, offline-first data handling, and app store release processes.

• A product-oriented mindset with a focus on user experience, edge cases, and performance optimization.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, asynchronous work environment.

• Candidates must be located in the US Eastern time zone.
