Desarrollador Power BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize advanced dashboards and reports in Power BI.

• Design and enhance data models using DAX and Power Query.

• Integrate Power BI with SQL Server, ERP systems, JSON, Data Lakes, and APIs.

• Create and maintain backend services utilizing .NET, C#, and/or VB.NET.

• Create and integrate APIs to facilitate communication between applications and systems.

• Optimize SQL queries and improve the performance of data models.

• Participate in the evolution of Business Intelligence solutions and new predictive analytics functionalities.

• Document developments and collaborate with technical and functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing Business Intelligence and software solutions.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.

• Strong experience in data modeling and advanced report design.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization.

• Experience in backend development with .NET (C# and/or VB.NET).

• Experience in developing, consuming, and integrating APIs.

• Experience integrating Power BI with databases, ERP systems, and various data sources.

• Experience in projects that combine Power BI with backend .NET development.

• Technical, technological, or professional education in software development or related fields.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Synapse, Fabric, or Databricks.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning and predictive analytics.

• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum.

• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Sage.

• Intermediate English proficiency (not mandatory).
