Digital Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation and enhancement of web and mobile applications utilizing JavaScript, React, and the Jutro design system from Guidewire.

• Partner with UX designers and multidisciplinary teams to produce single-page applications and digital services.

• Implement CSS, SASS, automated unit testing, and server-side technologies.

• Provide mentorship and direction to development teams.

• Assist in the transition projects from AngularJS to React.

• Utilize UX prototyping tools like Invision and Sketch as necessary.

• Engage in customer-facing consulting and implementation initiatives for insurance clients, InsurTechs, and delivery partners.

• Travel for on-site client interactions as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with web technologies.

• 4 to 5 years of experience specifically with React.

• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn Guidewire’s Jutro design system.

• Proven experience in developing web/mobile services and single-page applications.

• Proficient in CSS and SASS.

• Experience in automated unit testing using Jest/Enzyme.

• Knowledge of server-side technologies including JSON/RPC and REST.

• Strong proficiency in English.

• Fluency in Japanese.

• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.

• Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Figma, Invision, Sketch, or other UX prototyping tools is a plus.
