Senior MES Solution Engineer – GE Proficy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead the deployment of MES and ensure plant readiness at global manufacturing locations.

• Assess the readiness of infrastructure, automation, and SAP integration.

• Take technical ownership of the MES solution and the global template.

• Oversee solution architecture and design governance for GE Proficy Plant Applications.

• Establish and uphold technical and development standards across the platform.

• Evaluate and critique integration partner deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.

• Guide design and code reviews, integration principles, and architectural decisions.

• Manage the platform roadmap, promote standardization, and mentor engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems or industrial automation.

• Significant hands-on experience with GE Proficy Plant Applications, Proficy Historian, and CIMPLICITY.

• Proven expertise in SAP integration within a manufacturing execution setting.

• Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, and OPC UA integration principles.

• Strong skills in SQL Server administration and troubleshooting in MES environments.

• Practical knowledge of ISA-95 and ISA-88 architecture standards across multi-site implementations.

• Experience with .NET/C# development, REST APIs, and Azure DevOps or Git workflows is a plus.

• Willingness to travel internationally (~40%).
