Senior Medical Strategy Lead – Pulmonologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic medical and scientific expertise in the field of Pulmonology to IQVIA.

• Engage with potential clients and create strategic proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

• Serve as a leader, medical director, and subject matter expert during client proposal bid defense meetings.

• Act as a consultant throughout the research and development lifecycle, including clinical trials.

• Collaborate across the organization to utilize IQVIA resources effectively.

• Develop clinical development plans.

• Implement group strategy and guide the strategic direction of the Center of Excellence.

• Participate in thought leadership initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.

• Candidates from CROs should have held a senior strategic position, showcasing strong leadership skills and extensive expertise in Pulmonology.

• Possession of a terminal degree (MD) with training in Pulmonology.

• Practical experience in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within the research and development therapeutic area.

• Board Certified.

• Willingness to travel nationally or internationally at least 20% of the time.
