Senior Medical Scientific Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Act as Acadia’s field-based scientific authority and establish trusted connections with healthcare professionals, KOLs, centers of excellence, and patient advocacy groups throughout France.

• Produce actionable insights from the field, recognize unmet needs, and contribute to evidence development, launch preparedness, and lifecycle management.

• Lead scientific discussions and medical activities including advisory boards, expert meetings, congress participation, publications, and educational programs.

• Collaborate with the country Medical Director to ensure excellence in launches and lifecycle management.

• Forge strategic relationships with specialists in rare pediatric neurological disorders.

• Provide fair, balanced, and compliant medical information regarding marketed products and pipeline assets.

• Initiate and promote medical collaborations, investigator-initiated studies, publications, educational initiatives, and speaker development programs.

• Represent Acadia at both national and international congresses and scientific gatherings.

• Collect, analyze, and communicate insights on clinical practices, unmet needs, emerging evidence, competitor activities, and stakeholder viewpoints.

• Enhance disease awareness, education, and patient-centered initiatives in collaboration with Medical Affairs leadership and advocacy organizations.

• Address unsolicited medical information inquiries.

• Provide medical training and scientific support to cross-functional teams.

• Work together with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, and international Medical Affairs teams.

• Maintain proficiency in the landscapes of rare diseases and neuroscience, including treatment paradigms, guidelines, emerging therapies, and stakeholder requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific or medical degree or a related field is essential.

• The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years in field-based (Sr) MSL roles in CNS/neuroscience or rare diseases.

• Demonstrated ability to present complex scientific information clearly and effectively.

• Highly organized, self-driven, and quick to learn.

• Capability to work independently and manage competing priorities efficiently.

• Collaborative, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Ability to excel in cross-cultural teams and within a rapidly growing organization.

• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
