This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Create and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the Ohio region.
β’ Foster two-way scientific dialogue with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
β’ Identify and build relationships with community and academic healthcare professionals/key opinion leaders.
β’ Utilize MSL tools and insights to craft strategic customer engagement methods.
β’ Harness AI tools to enhance decision-making, processes, efficiency, and outcomes.
β’ Assess provider educational requirements and offer customized, scientifically grounded responses.
β’ Convey complex clinical evidence through clear and effective scientific discussions.
β’ Gather, consolidate, and share actionable insights that inform medical strategy, asset planning, and cross-functional conversations.
β’ Serve as the main contact for investigators and internal partners regarding company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
β’ Address unsolicited research and clinical inquiries with objective, compliant information.
β’ Implement Medical Affairs strategy and MSL priorities while adjusting plans to new data and organizational goals.
β’ Collaborate compliantly with MSL field partners, R&D, US and Global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, Sales, and Marketing.
β’ Maintain scientific knowledge through self-study, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and discussions with peers.
β’ Promote inclusion, belonging, collaboration, and organizational objectives.
β’ Gain proficiency in regulatory, healthcare compliance, business conduct, Medical Affairs SOPs, and guidelines.
β’ Work with the direct manager to develop performance and development plans.
β’ Undertake leadership projects that enhance medical planning and organizational capabilities.
β’ Fulfill administrative duties, including expense reports and activity documentation.
β’ A Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is necessary (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers, etc.).
β’ Post-graduate experience is required for Doctoral-level candidates, with a preference for therapeutic clinical experience.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, showcasing demonstrated success as an MSL.
β’ Strong scientific and therapeutic knowledge in research, data analysis, clinical expertise, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
β’ Capability to support a designated territory with up to 70% travel.
β’ A valid US Driverβs License is preferred.
β’ Completion of residency or fellowship is preferred.
β’ Knowledge or experience in the therapeutic area is preferred.
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.
β’ Related clinical, research, or pharmaceutical work experience is preferred.
β’ Must be located in a major metropolitan area; Cleveland or Columbus is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated commitment to learning new technologies such as AI.
