This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Serve as the main medical point of contact within the designated geographic region.
• Maintain expertise in clinical and scientific aspects of oncology, particularly in locally advanced prostate cancer and other solid tumors.
• Foster compliant scientific and medical peer exchanges with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and scientific communities.
• Create and monitor KOL engagement strategies while nurturing collaborative relationships.
• Oversee the management of the designated territory, clinical programs, and unsolicited information inquiries.
• Provide support to clinical trial sites and investigators in conjunction with Research and Development (R&D).
• Conduct profiling for KOLs and key accounts/institutions prior to product launch.
• Collaborate in a compliant manner with commercial teams on account engagement activities.
• Share KOL insights and feedback with internal teams.
• Represent the organization at medical conferences, ensure scientific booth coverage, and provide reports on congress outcomes.
• Comply with corporate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
• Offer medical support, clinical insight, and training for internal personnel.
• Present clinical, economic, outcomes, and value information to healthcare providers, payers, and formulary committees.
• An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), including at least 1 year in oncology and/or immunology.
• MSL candidates should possess a working knowledge of viral immunotherapy and gene therapy.
• For the Senior MSL role, a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 3 years in rare disease, oncology, and/or immunology is required.
• Experience in genitourinary oncology is highly preferred.
• Previous experience with product launches is essential.
• Demonstrated high level of scientific, business, and clinical understanding.
• Exceptional communication and networking abilities.
• Capability to interpret and present scientific data to KOLs.
• A working knowledge of prostate cancer standards of care is required.
• Proficiency in presenting complex scientific, value, and evidence data to payers and/or formulary committees is necessary.
• Familiarity with NCCN Guidelines, NCI Cooperative Groups, and Oncology Research Consortia.
• Knowledge of institutions and clinics within the specified geographic areas.
• Willingness to travel to medical meetings and congresses as required.
