This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Create and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the New York City/New Jersey region.
• Engage in reciprocal scientific discussions with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Establish connections with community and academic healthcare professionals as well as key opinion leaders.
• Utilize MSL tools, insights, and AI resources to enhance customer interaction and outcomes.
• Assess provider educational requirements and provide customized, scientifically sound responses.
• Communicate complex clinical data through clear, effective, and evidence-based dialogue.
• Gather, consolidate, and disseminate actionable insights that inform medical strategy and asset planning.
• Assist investigators and internal stakeholders for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
• Address unsolicited research and clinical inquiries with objective and compliant information.
• Collaborate in a compliant manner with MSL partners, R&D, US and Global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, Sales, and Marketing.
• Maintain scientific knowledge through self-directed learning, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and peer discussions.
• Promote inclusion, belonging, engagement, productivity, and innovation.
• Stay informed on regulatory, healthcare compliance, corporate conduct, and Medical Affairs standards.
• Create performance and development plans and lead leadership initiatives.
• Fulfill administrative responsibilities, including expense reporting and activity documentation.
• A Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is required (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers, etc.).
• Postgraduate experience is necessary for doctoral-level candidates, with a preference for therapeutic clinical experience.
• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience, including proven success as an MSL.
• Strong scientific and therapeutic knowledge in research, data analysis, clinical expertise, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to support a designated territory with up to 70% travel.
• Valid US Driver’s License is preferred.
• Residency or fellowship experience is preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in the therapeutic area is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, and familiarity with computers and remote technologies.
• Relevant clinical, research, or pharmaceutical work experience is required.
• Commitment to learning and utilizing emerging technologies such as AI.
