Senior Medical Science Liaison, Lupus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Key Medical Experts and healthcare professionals to articulate the clinical and scientific narrative for Biogen’s therapies.

• Act as a credible medical/scientific authority aiding clinical decision-making regarding disease state and Biogen products.

• Establish strong, strategic, long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Serve as a responsive, solutions-oriented liaison to leaders within the medical community.

• Participate in projects and initiatives that align with the US Medical strategy, objectives, and tactics.

• Achieve qualitative and quantitative goals, standards, and measures of medical excellence.

• Implement Key Medical Expert engagement plans in partnership with field and non-field colleagues.

• Accurately capture and report KME/HCP medical insights in Veeva to inform medical and clinical strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Advanced Scientific or Clinical degree is required; a Doctoral (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP) level is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Rheumatology/Dermatology Medical Science Liaison is necessary.

• Must reside within the designated territory, which includes OH, MI, IN, WI, IL, MN, IA, MO, ND, SD, and NE.

• Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend trips.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required.

• Must have the authorization and ability to operate a company-leased vehicle or rental.

• Preference will be given to candidates with clinical experience and expertise in systemic and/or cutaneous lupus (CLE).
