πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Formulate and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the designated territory that aligns with the Medical Affairs framework and prioritized medical goals.

β€’ Foster two-way scientific dialogue with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to recognize trends, unmet needs, and educational shortcomings.

β€’ Build and nurture relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs to enhance scientific credibility.

β€’ Utilize MSL tools and insights to craft strategic customer engagement methods and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities.

β€’ Employ AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making processes, efficiency, and outcomes.

β€’ Assess provider educational requirements and deliver customized, scientifically sound responses.

β€’ Convey complex clinical evidence through clear, effective, and evidence-based scientific discussions.

β€’ Gather and report actionable insights that inform medical strategies, asset planning, and cross-functional conversations.

β€’ Serve as a point of contact for investigators and internal partners regarding company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.

β€’ Address unsolicited research and clinical inquiries with objective, compliant information.

β€’ Implement Medical Affairs strategies and MSL priorities while adjusting plans to align with evolving data, compliance requirements, and organizational objectives.

β€’ Collaborate compliantly with MSL field partners, R&D, US and Global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, Sales, and Marketing teams.

β€’ Maintain scientific knowledge through self-directed study, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and peer discussions.

β€’ Promote inclusion and belonging both internally and externally.

β€’ Acquire competence in regulatory standards, healthcare compliance, ethical conduct, and Medical Affairs Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

β€’ Create and implement a performance and development plan in conjunction with the direct manager.

β€’ Lead projects that support medical planning and enhance organizational capabilities.

β€’ Fulfill administrative duties, including expense reporting and activity documentation.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is mandatory (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers, etc.).

β€’ Postgraduate experience is necessary for Doctoral-level candidates, with a preference for clinical experience in therapeutic areas.

β€’ A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, including a proven track record as an MSL.

β€’ Strong scientific and therapeutic knowledge complemented by skills in research, data analysis, clinical expertise, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

β€’ Must support a defined territory with up to 70% travel, which includes territory visits and participation in internal meetings, external congresses, and related events.

β€’ A valid US Driver’s License is preferred.

β€’ Residency or fellowship is preferred.

β€’ Knowledge or experience in the relevant therapeutic area.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.

β€’ Relevant clinical, research, or pharmaceutical work experience.

β€’ Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and the application of new tools over time.
